Guy Forget and Arnaud Boetsch saved four match points before finally defeating compatriots Henri Leconte and Cedric Pioline 6-3, 3-6, 16-14 in the tie-break game of the over 35’s Legends Trophy final. Forget clinched the win with a brilliant lob to claim the title for the second year running (he was partnered with Thierry Champion last year).
In the over 45s tournament, John McEnroe and Anders Jarryd retained their trophy by defeating John Fitzgerald and Guillermo Vilas 6-1, 6-2.
